What are the Visored ?

The Visored are the antithesis to the Arrancar as Shinigami who have obtained Hollow powers. Having begun as Shinigami, the Visored appear entirely Human and bar those times where they are using their powers are indistinguishable from ordinary Shinigami. To gain access to their Hollow powers, a Visored dons a Hollow mask. This allows them to augment their Shinigami abilities with Hollow powers, as well as giving them access to some of the more generic Hollow abilities. Their spiritual pressure likewise changes into a mix of Hollow and Shinigami. This process of donning one's Hollow mask is referred to as Hollowfication. Visored have been shown to be former captain and lieutenant Shinigami. They are considered criminals by the Soul Society for committing the ultimate taboo of acquiring Hollow powers; their status as former leaders of Soul Society also marks them as traitors.

Vizard Abilities
The vizard use their Hollow powers to augment their existing Shinigami abilities, granting them massive increases in speed, stamina, and strength. The only known side effect in donning their Hollow masks is a specific time limit, which varies from user to user. Fortunately, there is a remedy to this problem which is training. Every time their masks are used, the Vizard's voices echo as a consequence of both their normal voice and their inner Hollow's voice speaking simultaneously. *Do note then while your mask is donned you will emit hollow reiatsu, and may not hide or suppress your reiatsu.

*Mask Duration Training: After dominating their Inner Hollow completely, Vizard will have the option of increasing the duration, or period at which their mask is applied. The max duration a vizard can reach is 15 posts (*Mashiro’s 15 hours*). But if one wishes to gain this duration immediately, they may create a post of 3k words of training for this. Otherwise you must do 500 words which equals to 1 duration increase.

Standard Enhancements:
(Are the basic enhancements that all Vizard have the ability to use when applying their mask, however every Vizard may select up to ONLY two.
Only accessible when Mask is Donned.)




•Enhanced Speed: Visored gain a great boost in their speed while Hollowfied and will be able to use Shunpo/Sonido 2 additional times before it goes on cooldown. Vizards when their masks are donned gain one Fighting Style increase in "So" with this enhancement, from their original level of Mastery. [IE: Practitioner is now Expert] Kensei was able to throw a rapid amount of punches against a Gillian.


•Enhanced Strength: The Visored gain great strength while using their masks. Love was able to rip a Gillian class Menos in half with his bare hands after the Visored first arrived in the Fake Karakura Town. Vizards when their masks are donned gain one Fighting Style increase in "Ken" with this enhancement, from their original level of Mastery. [IE: Practitioner is now Expert with Mask on]


•Mask Protection: Allows all bodily damage, or sustained wounds to be ignored while a Vizard's mask is donned.


•Cero: Vizard may use the basic Red cero blast.


•Telekinesis: Visored apparently hold varying degrees of telekinesis; For example, Ichigo, in his new Hollowfied form, has employed this ability to call forth his Zanpakutō with a mere flick of the wrist.



Special Enhancements:
(Are enhancements that not all Vizard may perform, and may only gain 1.
Only accessible when Mask is Donned.)


•Unique Kido: May create up to 2 free Custom Kido techniques.


•Garganta: Vizard are allowed to use Garganta for dimensional travel, but are still subject to all travel and garganta usage rules.


•Sonido: May use Sonido depending on their level.


•Custom Cero: Are able to create a 1 Custom Cero.


•Zanpakuto Enhancement: Users gain 2 additional techniques for either Shikai or Bankai.




Vizard Evolution System

The vaizard are an elite group of shinigami of normally Lieutenant and Captain level, who have bridged the gap between Hollow and Shinigami unlocking new powers to aid them in combat in addition to their Shinigami powers. The Vizard group will be limited to up to 7 Vizard’s of either Lieutenant or Captain Level, no more no less. But of course, as a Vizard dies, positions may open up according to the race leader.

Hollowfication Process

Becoming a Vizard does not come without work; one must first complete the Hollowfication process by training IC’ly. Hollowfication begins at several steps which must be followed to become a complete Vizard, dominating ones Inner Hollow, and ultimately suppressing it forever in any normal instance.

Hollow Pawn/ Hollow Takeover:
New Vizard’s begin in this stage, where they have little to no control over their Inner Hollow, as it will seek any opportunity to become “King.” Often Vizard’s of this stage will experience nightmares of their Inner Hollow, mirror images of themselves being dominated, which to anyone will cause them to be extremely frightened by it. Even in some instances, the Vizard may lose control of a particular body part during battle as the Inner Hollow tries to dominate. If an extreme life threatening wound is inflicted upon a person of this level, their Inner Hollow will nearly take them over, which like how Ichigo was when he fought Byakuya, having no control over their bodily a ctions. In this stage the Vizard will not die from attacks and will instead instantly regenerate as their Inner Hollow takes over.

A Vizard wishing to end this stage of his evolution must detail how they overcame the possession of their body using only pure will power, detailing how exactly they were coaxed into this dominated form, what injury they sustained, who and why they were fighting. This must be done in actual IC combat. *Only your posts count toward the Word Requirement.

Full Hollow Form/ Inner Battle:


These Vizard are no longer bothered by their Inner Hollow, and have come to a point of being fed up with the torture and want to end their torment. Using Jinzen, they are able to enter their Inner World and combat their Inner Hollow in an epic battle to subdue, and dominate them completely. However as this battle takes place, their familiar appearance will begin to change into that of a hollow. Initial development of a Hollow Mask will happen instantly as the battle begins and will progress, every body part becoming hollowfied, gaining super strength and stamina, able to even fire small cero, with extremely high resistance to physical and reiatsu attacks. After 24 hours, the individual will be hollowfied to the point of no return, becoming a Captain Level Hollow, and ultimately dominated by their Inner Hollow, their soul only retrievable via the Hogyoku or a device that allows for a soul to Temporarily dominate long enough for another Inner battle to take place, and for that person to be successful the next time around, albeit, it’s extremely unlikely. You may think of this as of when Mashiro, and Kensei were completely dominated and attacking their fellow Captain’s or when Ichigo became a full Hollow as his Inner battle was occurring.

To complete this stage one must face off against their Inner Hollow (Staff Played NPC), successfully dominating it before their time is up, usually with comrades containing the Hollow’s power. You have approximately 40 Posts in which to complete this, 20 Posts being yours and, 20 Posts being your Inner Hollow. If you cannot complete the task within 40 Posts you become fully Hollowfied and your comrades would have no choice but to kill you, or be killed, and you will remain a Bankai level Hollow permanently. This stage must be done IC’ly. *Only your posts count toward the Word Requirement.

VIZARDS

Due to the fact that they were all banished from Soul Society for being traitors, all of the Vizards had something in common. They all share this one common trait, in fact it is the only true testament of being a vizard, is that you must have been considered a traitor by Soul Society. The vizards have never been a group to gather and form up ranks and such, even any sort of government, but over the past three years, a few have gathered and convened a tribunal of sorts. By sharing experience, information, secrets and having safety in numbers they have became a minor player on the battlefield that is the Human Realm. But, this tribunal was not created for fighting, it was designed so that they may protect themselves against all who are after them. So they may scatter to the wind should Soul Society ever come a knocking, nothing more than chiefs against the tyranny of Soul Society.

These five testaments hold true to the vizards way, in fact to each vizard they may mean there own thing, and each places there own importance on them. Each Chief holds an additional ideal that they themselves set up, and practice within there own. As such, the organization, or tribunal has its merits of freedom and sovereignty , they have no overlord or master, no one set of rules that guide them like Soul Society. They have no one to fight about like the Espada, no position holds power over another and such. And they are daft like the humans and there ilk.


The ones in charge are called Chiefs, while the rest of the tribunal are called Braves
